Entrepreneur with Heart and Soul

Janice Rogers-Clark is a woman of great character and strength. I'm honored to call her my mother , friend and mentor! Yes, that's right, this is the woman that helped me become the woman that I am today. She attended Florida College of Business where she received a degree as an Office Specialist. She was born and raised in Florida, by her beautiful Mother (also my grandmother) which was her role model and her father who is a music mogul in the industry, registered BMI writer, his music has been featured around the country in movies on the Lifetime channel and much more. He resides in New York and continues to inspire her.
After speaking with my mother Janice, I asked her to contribute her story to share with my readers. The following information is what she would like to share with all of you.
My mother died in the year 2008 of July. She strived to raised me and eleven other siblings which is eight sisters and four brothers which one (Thomas) preceded her in death. She raised us as a single mom and did an excellent job.  I also being a single mother, raised six beautiful children.  I have four lovely daughters and two beautiful sons, now which I later have eleven grandchildren and now a great-grandson. I have worked for the communities serving Broward, Dade and Palm Beach Counties rendering my services and utilizing my secretarial skills, event planning experience and so much more.
During my years of my children continuing on with their lives into adulthood, I  worked for City Hall in Pompano Beach, Florida as Clerk Typist II in the Department of Community Development, serving the community and working with many senior citizens.  I also have nine years of banking experience. I've worked in various departments, such as Proof Operator, Installment Loan Clerk, and Mail Teller.
As years passed on I worked for an Organization called Women in Distress which was a challenging job. I enjoyed every moment knowing that with each sale that it was helping a battered woman. Unfortunately tragedy struck our family my brother (Thomas) died from an aneurysm on the brain which ruptured and he went into a comma and never survived (sadly)which affected me greatly and I left the position. After my mother’s death myself and my third oldest sibling started planning to open up an  assistant living facility called Heart Rescue Ministry, as myself  as Vice President which is still active and I started a women's ministry called Women Of Great Integrity to console, teach, mentor, comfort and embrace  battered, women with high standard along with helping their dreams come true.
I have created baskets, floral arrangements, interior designing, wedding decorations, baby shower events, galas and so much more.  I provided a campaign basket for Nivea line of specialty lotions, baskets for Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital, Easter Baskets for children in homeless shelters, fed the poor at my local soup kitchens, organized events to raise money for the American Lung Association and various other organizations. I’m very creative when it comes to the arts and designing floral arrangements. I design baskets for all occasions and they will be available soon for your viewing soon via online. You can reach me via email with any questions or comments and if you need help organizing an event, interior designing, basket samples at perfectionsdesignedbyjan@yahoo.com.
I will continue to serve all communities around the Globe, encourage women, build my legacy for my children and grandchildren. I believe that God is the builder of my character as well as others and I will continue to help anyone in need.
Well now you all know where my drive for philanthropy comes from! I was raised to always help others who can't help themselves and give when you can. We all have a gift or talent to offer the world and the benefit comes once you see the smile on their face. I believe that each of us can continue to make a difference around the world as long as we give with are heart and soul!
